There is no single one thing that you can do or eat that would totally defeat cancer. However, research does show that’s a diet filled with a variety of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans and other plant foods helps lower risk for many cancers.

In a variety of laboratory studies, it has been shown that many different individual minerals, vitamins and phytochemicals demonstrate anti-cancer effects. so you see now that there is evidence suggesting it is the synergy of compounds in the overall diet that offers the strongest cancer protection.
Research has also shown and is now recognizing that excess body fat increases your risk of 11 different cancers. Need another reason to eat more fruits and vegetables? Fruits and vegetables are low in calories. (uhm, for those of you whom count calories) Whole grains and beans are a very rich source in fiber. Fiber is your friend… how? So long as your also getting enough water and I mean half your body weight in ounces daily it will help with weight management.
